The Friars controlled the pace of the game throughout jumping on the scoreboard early as Ocasio netted a quick goal to start the game for Servite then added two more in the period to put the Friars up 5-3 at the end of the 1st quarter. He scored again to start the 2nd before Christian Martinez took over the offensive charge helping to extend Servite's lead to 10-5 at half.
