Track Prepares for Trinity League Finals

Servite Track & Field competed in Trinity League Prelims Thursday advancing seven athletes in five events to Friday's Finals at Santa Margarita. The Friars also automatically advanced participants in nine additional events in which there were no qualifying races.

The hurdling trio of Kyle Kimble, Christian Ojeda and Nathan Lacson all advanced in the 300 Hurdles while Mauro Rosales qualified in the 1600m run. Keagan Hayes earned a spot in the 400m dash final while Delon Hurt advanced in the 200m dash. Vince Sarino won his heat in the 800m run to round out the qualifiers for Servite.

Automatic qualifying events included the relays, the 110 Hurdles and the 3200 run as well as all of the field events.

F/S and JV competed in League Finals in the field events with Hans Garcia winning the F/S Long Jump, Preston Kincaid and Jacob Garcia going 1-2 in the Frosh/Soph Shot Put and Nathan Johnson and Jacob Garcia taking the top two spots in the Frosh/Soph Discus.
