Sosa's next steps include heading to University of the Pacific, where he will play Division I soccer and study business management. His father's road from Guatemala to the U.S. and the life he has built here for Sosa and his family, remain his inspiration.

Servite Wrestling competed in Trinity League Finals today advancing 13 wrestlers to next weekend's CIF Individual Tournament. Senior Troy Madrigal won his 3rd Trinity League title while nine Fight'n Friars finished as runner-ups.

Servite Athletics recognized eight student-athletes today during a National Signing Day ceremony held in the gym. Delon Hurt, Julius Irvin, Luke LaCilento, Clayton Martin, TJ McMahon and Parker Thomas represented Football while Corbin Mercado and Jose Sosa represented Soccer.

He went 4-0 at the CIF-Southern Section team dual championships. Silva, a junior at 106 pounds, won his first match by technical fall, followed with pins in his next two matches and then won by a major decision in the final round.

The Loyola Marymount-bound senior scored a season-high three goals in an 8-0 victory against Orange Lutheran and netted one goal in a 2-0 triumph over St. John Bosco to help the Friars remain in first place in the Trinity League.
