Eddie Soto has resigned his position as head soccer coach after four seasons with the Friars.

Athletic Director Matt Marrujo shared, “On behalf of the Servite Leadership Team, we would like to thank Coach Soto for the hard work and dedication he has displayed during his tenure. Under his direction, the team has reached new heights and added to the rich tradition of the Servite Soccer program. We wish him the best of luck in all his future endeavors.”

Coach Soto said, “Today I have decided to step away as the Head Coach for Servite Soccer. I would like to give a sincere thank you to both Alan Clinton and Joel Hartmann for giving me the opportunity four years ago. Thank you to my coaches, especially Eddie Garcia and Alan Solorio who were with me from the beginning. In those four years, I’m blessed to have won two State Championships, two CIF Championships along with two Trinity League Titles. Winning the treble (Trinity League, CIF, State) for the first time in school history will be my fondest memory. The goal was always to win and to make sure the experience was one of faith, fun and creating lifelong memories for these young men. I’ll always hold Servite dear to my heart, and I wish the program well. A standard has been set and I look forward to seeing it continue. CREDO!”

Servite High School is committed to providing the best education-based athletic program for all of our student-athletes. The hiring process will begin immediately with details regarding the selection process forthcoming. In the meantime, inquiries should be directed to Athletic Director Matt Marrujo at mmarrujo@servitehs.org.
