Rodenbeck, Brennan and Seals Earn OC Register All-County Recognition

Graduation my have come and gone for the Class of 2018 but seniors from this talented class are still receiving recognition with three Friar Lacrosse players being selected All-Orange County by the OC Register!

Hayden Rodenbeck (1st Team)- With the announcement of the 2018 OC Register All-County Lacrosse team, Rodenbeck becomes the first Friar in school history to be awarded 1st team honors twice after receiving the same nomination in 2017. For Rodenbeck, it caps an outstanding high school career that already included All-American, Trinity League Defensive MVP and overall MVP accolades as well as US Lacrosse All-County recognition. A long stick midfielder for the Friars, he finished his senior season with 21 goals, 11 assists, 112 ground balls and 45 caused turnovers. The four-year Varsity letterman will continue his lacrosse career at the Division 1 level next year playing for the University of Utah.

Cole Brennan (2nd Team)- After being named 1st Team All-Trinity League and 3rd Team All-County (US Lacrosse) at the conclusion of the 2018 season, Brennan now adds 2nd Team All-County (OC Register) to his impressive list of postseason accolades. The Friars midfielder posted 43 goals and 10 assists his senior year while tallying 21 ground balls. He also scored the game-winning goal during an overtime, come-from-behind, victory over Brighton (UT) earlier this year.

Jack Seals (3rd Team)- A defenseman for the Friars, Seals earned Trinity League Defensive MVP honors this season in addition to being named 2nd Team All-County by US Lacrosse. Now he can add 3rd Team All-County (OC Register) to his resumé after posting 3 goals, 3 assists, 142 ground balls and 46 caused turnovers his senior season. Seals will continue his lacrosse career next year at DIII Stevenson University.
