Swim Sets Two New Records at Trinity League Finals!

Servite Swim had a big day at yesterday's Trinity League Finals setting TWO new league records! Christian Martinez (pictured second from right) started it off for the Friars swimming a personal best- 20.66 in the 50 Free to win the league title, post the top mark in league history and earn an automatic CIF berth. He then anchored the Friars' 200 Free Relay team of Chris Canlas, Porter Bruce and Matthew Kuehl who swam a 1:25.01 to set another league record and advance to CIF!

In addition, Martinez took 2nd in the 100 Free coming in at 46.79 while the 400 Free Relay team of Canlas, Bruce, Kuehl and Martinez also finished as runner-ups posting a time of 3:09.98.

Looking toward CIF, the Friars have advanced swimmers in the 50 Free (Martinez and Canlas), 100 Free (Martinez) and both the 200 Free and 400 Free relays (Canlas, Bruce, Kuehl and Martinez).
