Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry focuses on leading the community to encounter Christ through daily liturgy and prayer, retreat and fellowship experiences, spiritual development, and outward service to others in need.  In these ways we give life to a favorite Servite motto - Be Christ, See Christ!

Campus Ministry Programs

Mass

Along with several all-school Masses held throughout the academic year, liturgies are held daily either before or after school. Students also serve in the capacities of lector, music ministry, altar servers, and extraordinary ministers of holy communion in our all-school liturgies.

Reconciliation

Priests are available Mondays and Fridays during lunch for Confession, or as needed with an appointment.  Two all-school Reconciliation services are offered during Advent and Lent.

Adoration

Drawing our strength from the Eucharist, which is the source and summit of our faith, the chapel is open daily for anyone desiring space to pray.  Adoration is also offered during lunch on Mondays and Fridays.

Bible Studies

Bible studies are offered every Tuesday during lunch in the Campus Ministry office as an opportunity for discussion & deeper understanding of our Sacred Scriptures.

Apologetics

On Thursdays during lunch, students are invited to discuss the issues of our culture and learn how to defend Church teaching. These informal discussions center on empowering students to use logic and charitably debate the commonplace topics that arise in our world. "...in your hearts reverence Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to make a defense to any one who calls you to account for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and reverence." (1 Peter 3:15).

Father & Mother Focused Ministries

The bonds between both mothers and fathers and their sons are unique so these needs are nourished in different ways.  Day-retreats are offered for mothers and regular fellowships groups occur for fathers, as well as barbeque cookouts and Father & Son Masses. The school also encourages the steady conversation between parents and teachers for the overall grown and maturation of the students, academically, athletically, and spiritually.

Christian Service

Christian Service is an integral part of the Servite experience and our mission. Each student is required to complete 100 hours of service before graduation. Service may be performed on campus for various special activities, but most opportunities will come from the local community or parish. The Campus Ministry team assists in tracking hours and providing opportunities for students to serve and put their faith into action. Special excursions and mission trips are offered as they are available.
