Servite Scholar-Athlete of the Week (10/21/19)

Evan Serynek
Water Polo
GPA: 3.88

What is your favorite subject? Why? My favorite subject is Anatomy and Physiology because I’m interested in the structure, and function of the human body.

What teacher has most impacted you here at Servite? Why? Mr. Powers has impacted me the most at Servite. He has taught me how to study not only for good grades, but to retain the information and apply what I learn to life.

Advice for freshmen on how to balance the academic and athletic rigors at Servite: It’s tough but I would say take an hour or two out of each day to focus on academics and you should be fine.

What else are you involved in at Servite? At Servite I am also involved in Swimming and Surf Club.

Career interest- I am interested in a business career, whether it’s business management, accounting, or entrepreneurship.

Classes you’re currently taking- I am currently taking Chorus, Anatomy/Physiology, AP Literature, CP Economics, CP Precalculus, and Critical Reflections.
