TRINITY LEAGUE CHAMPION!
Sophomore Hanks Wang won the Individual Trinity League title this week setting a new league record shooting 130 over the two-day tournament, finishing an incredible 14 under at Los Serranos CC.
With the victory, Wang becomes the 4th straight Friar to stand atop the podium following in the footsteps of Mason LaBow (2023), Jack Cantlay (2022) and William Sung (2021).
As a freshman, Wang actually finished tied for 1st in the 2023 tournament but lost in the playoff to LaBow.
Wang will now move on to compete at the CIF Individual Regional Tournament held in May on the road to the State Tournament.
William Gim and Christian Rodriguez also earned All-Trinity League honors finishing 2nd team.
As a team, the Friars are undefeated as they work to return to the top of the Trinity League rankings.
