After a year off due to COVID-19, the CIF/SCGA SoCal Boys HS Championship was resurrected at Brookside GC in Pasadena. Amidst the sweltering heat, 124 high school competitors battled it out and Youseong Choi captured the individual title, while the Servite Friars took home the team championship for the first time in its school's history.

On the team side, the Servite Friars dominated the competition, rolling into the clubhouse with a team score of even par (360) to defeat the runner-up by 12 strokes! Torrey Pines Falcons finished second and Anaheim Discovery Christian Magi came in third place. 

Individually, senior William Sung took 2nd overall shooting 68 (-4) while fellow Class of 2021 grad Ben Hong finished 4th coming in at 69 (-3). Juniors Jack Cantlay and Chip Deegan shot 73 (+1) and 74 (+2) respectively followed by sophomores Mason LaBow (76) and Henry Xu (78).
