After a combined 13 seasons, Servite High School and Head Football Coach Troy Thomas have parted ways.

Athletic Director Matt Marrujo shared, “On behalf of the Servite Leadership Team, I would like to thank Coach Thomas for his dedication and service to the young men of Servite and for instilling in his players the life-long desire for hard work and discipline. We wish Coach Thomas and his family the best in their future endeavors.”

Most recently, Coach Thomas led the varsity team to a 26-23 overall record in five seasons at the helm with appearances in the CIF Finals and CIF Quarterfinals. He also supported over 35 student-athletes in their journeys to becoming collegiate athletes. Coach Thomas previously served as head coach at Servite from 2005-2012, winning seven league titles, two CIF PAC 5 championships, and one State title while going 75-25 overall in eight seasons.

“Servite High School is committed to supporting our student-athletes to become the men God has called them to be,” Marrujo said. “We look to the future with excitement and confidence, prepared to capitalize on Servite’s unparalleled tradition of forming faith-filled leaders on and off the field.”

Details regarding the selection process for a new head football coach will be forthcoming. In the meantime, inquiries should be directed to Athletic Director Matt Marrujo at mmarrujo@servitehs.org.
