Support Services Program
Servite High School's Support Services Program nurtures students with learning differences and promotes student involvement while focusing on individualized learning in a college preparatory curriculum.
Some examples of diagnoses we support are students with ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, autism spectrum, processing disorders, anxiety, depression, and OCD.
Eligibility
- Students entering the support services program must provide a recent copy of an IEP, 504, or a psycho-educational assessment. The plans will be used to create individualized learning accommodation plans (IAP) for each student in the program.
Accommodations
- Some common accommodations include preferential seating, extra time on tests, or testing in a separate environment. Accommodation plans are developed based on documentation presented from formal assessments.
- The support services team provides Individualized learning consultations with students on a regular basis to support student growth.
- Academic achievement classes are available for students. These classes help with executive function and study skills. Topics such as note taking, study strategies, test taking strategies, avoiding procrastination, effective time management, organization, and planning are addressed.
