This summer, our Mandarin class had the amazing opportunity to travel all over China! Mr. Ji recounts the visit below:

Our Mandarin class has been talking about the China trip since our freshman year, and the fact that it finally happened in such a grand success far exceeded everyone's expectations. We left the US for Taiwan on 6/12, and in the next 9 days, we visited Taipei, Beijing, Xi'an, and Shanghai. We flew from Taipei to Shanghai, took the bullet train from Beijing to Xi'an, and flew again from Xi'an to Shanghai. On our trip, we walked and visited all the highlights and ate enough AWESOME food! We stayed at fantastic 5-star hotels and saw the phenomenal Tang Dynasty show and the Shanghai Acrobat Show. This trip has been an eye-opener for everyone, especially culturally enriching for our Mandarin class, who have pursued the study of the language and culture for 3 years. My heart was filled with gratitude for God's protection throughout the trip. We indeed had a trip of a lifetime!
