We have become aware of an article in the Orange County Register (published on June 21, 2022) concerning allegations of misconduct by Servite priest Fr. Kevin Fitzpatrick (deceased). Fr. Fitzpatrick worked at Servite from 1970 to 1992 and passed away in 1997.

Servite High School takes any allegations of misconduct seriously. Nothing is more important than the safety and welfare of all members of our community. The abuse of a minor or any vulnerable person by another is an unspeakable violation. Servite High School remains vigilant in our efforts to maintain our safety protocols, background checks, and training for individuals working with our students.

The USA Province of the Order of Friar Servants of Mary adheres to the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People and has policies and procedures in place to respond quickly and compassionately to allegations of misconduct.

We ask that you direct any inquiries to Steffanie Early, Vice President of Advancement, at searly@servitehs.org and take a moment to pray for all those who have suffered abuse.
