Before Easter Break, CP Spanish 3 worked with local non-profit OC Pom Rescue creating Spanish biographies for the Pomeranians.
The students used the Subjunctive to express the desires, wishes, and possibilities of the Pomeranians in the first person. The selected presentations were used on OC Pom Rescue's Instagram page and at an adoption event in Brea.
OC Pom Rescue is a breed-specific nonprofit dog rescue based here in Southern California. From their website, "We work diligently to match our applicants with the right rescue dogs for their home, lifestyle, and needs. We also strive to promote awareness and education about the Pomeranian breed and its characteristics, needs, and traits."
Thank you to Mr. Miguel Hinojosa and Ms. Karley List, our two teachers who drove this project.
