Servite High School is proud to highlight the accomplishments of junior Ezekiel "Zeke" Morales, who recently completed a summer internship with Caritas Corporation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions.

During his internship, Zeke worked closely with the Caritas team on both administrative and community development initiatives. According to Gabe Chavez, Vice President at Caritas Corporation's Irvine office, "Ezekiel played a dynamic role at Caritas, contributing to both program administration and community development initiatives. He provided key administrative support for the Caritas Scholarship Program and Caritas Reads, helping ensure smooth operation."

Chavez further noted that "Zeke was deeply involved in our Shady Lane Redevelopment Project, where he helped coordinate the Groundbreaking event. His contributions reflected a strong commitment to Caritas' mission of building vibrant, resident-centered communities."

Founded in 1996, Caritas Corporation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing affordable housing for low- and very low-income individuals and families. Their mission focuses on building vibrant communities centered on resident engagement and mutual care, supported by programs focused on resident involvement, health and wellness, financial assistance, and education.

Zeke's internship exemplifies Servite's commitment to forming faith-filled leaders who serve their communities with compassion and dedication. His hands-on experience with a respected nonprofit organization provided valuable real-world experience while making a positive impact on vulnerable populations.
