This weekend, on February 10th, our decathletes were recognized at Orange Coast College for their achievements over the 2023-2024 season. 

Andrew Lonergan ’25 was one of Orange County’s top art and essay contest students, achieving 4th place in his division for both events.

Finn Juge ’25 earned 2nd place in the science category, while Dongwon Yoo ’24 also earned 2nd place in math.

Cyrus Faamafoe ’24 achieved 1st place in the interview contest with a perfect score! Out of the hundreds of competitors in Orange County, he was one of seven students to earn a perfect score. Faamafoe ’24 also earned a 3rd place finish in the art contest.

As a team, Servite High School earned the 4th highest score in the Super Quiz, with over 30 schools competing. The Super Quiz is a group quiz bowl that students compete in before a live audience. Congratulations to our Super Quiz participants Isaish Ocampo ’26, Andrew Lonergan ’25, Finn Juge ’25, Jacob Ratzlaff ’24, Cyrus Faamafoe ’24, and Donwon Yoo ’24. 

The Servite Decathlon Team improved from last year, earning three medals with three decathletes. This year, they totaled six medals and a team award with seven decathletes!
