Adams will continue as president for another three-year term

ANAHEIM, California - February 3, 2021 - Servite High School is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has approved a three-year contract renewal for President Randall Adams. Adams began serving as the school’s third president in July 2018.

Philip Stump, Chair of the Board of Directors, praised Adams for his leadership during his first term at Servite.

“On behalf of the Servite Board of Directors, we are delighted with Randy's decision to continue to bring his outstanding leadership skills to Servite for another three years,“ said Stump. “His tenure here at Servite has truly been transformational, and we couldn't have hoped for a more steady hand to guide us through the uncertain times we have experienced over the last year.”

During his first term as president, Adams has guided Servite through a tumultuous time, ensuring that students continued to receive a quality education during pandemic-related challenges. Under his leadership, Servite implemented technology and health protocols to allow students to continue to maintain the student experience despite widespread health concerns. Adams led the task force that created Servite’s Return to School Plan that allowed the school to convert instructional methods from in person to remote and hybrid due to the pandemic and was responsible for the cohesiveness and community-wide collaboration on the plan.

In his first term, Adams restructured several areas for improved results, including uniting the Development, Admissions, and Communications departments under the Office of Advancement to ensure consistent mission and message and appointed a new vice president to lead the team. Under his leadership, Servite also created a Department of Health Services and hired a registered nurse to lead the department and implemented cost-saving programs including outsourcing food services and uniform sales and a solar energy installation among other achievements.

“Servite High School is an extraordinary place,” said Adams. “It remains a great honor and privilege to continue to serve as its president. I look forward to continuing to work with the Board of Directors, faculty, staff, alumni and families to represent the Charisms of the Servite Order and to help young men become faith-filled leaders.

Adams has nearly 30 years of experience in Catholic education, in a wide range of leadership positions in Catholic educational institutions around the country. Prior to Servite, Adams completed a two-year assignment as interim president of Academy of Notre Dame, an all-girls intermediate and secondary Catholic school in Massachusetts. Prior to that, he served as head of school for St. Anne’s in Laguna Niguel, successfully guiding the institution through an important growth phase. An Air Force veteran, Adams earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and his Masters in Educational Administration from California State University San Bernardino. He has been married to his wife Debbie for 42 years, has three children and seven grandchildren.
