Seniors in the Sky Chapel at Christ Cathedral

On Sunday, March 19th, 94 members of the senior class walked from Servite's campus to Christ Cathedral and back. The annual event is held every year around the start of the Senior's last quarter as a student. The purpose of the 13.5 mile walk was to reflect on the last four years of the place you called home.

Students began the day with mass in our theater with their parents. They then left on their pilgrimage to Christ Cathedral following the map printed on the back of their t-shirts. The seniors were asked to stay off their phones and also not listen to music, but rather talk with their classmates and mentors. As Mr. Bendan Ronan said in a speech to the seniors before they left, "Today is about bonding and reflecting and overcoming a physical challenge together...Talk about funny Servite memories, favorite teachers, proudest moments, and things you regret."

We want to thank the Parents and Guardians of this senior class for trusting us here at Servite with your sons for the past four years. This pilgrimage was a reminder that in a few short months, the senior class will leave their home of Servite and go out to seek how to make the world better. Always remembering that they will be Friars and always have a home here at Servite.
