Congratulations to sophomore Peter Beerer on being recognized by the United States Naval Academy’s Summer STEM Program as “STEM Academic Superstar!”

This award is presented to members of the summer program for “overall best academic performance and engagement.” 

Peter Beerer ’26, like all members participating in the program, was evaluated on their engagement with their Midshipmen Leaders and fellow group members, as well as their performance during modules. Some modules included building rockets, boats, and scale bridges to test different methods for better results. 

Beerer also had opportunities to visit different parts of the USNA’s campus and even Washington, D.C.
