Max Thomas '22 continued his dominance on the track this weekend winning the 100 and 200 at the CIF-SS Division 3 Finals held at Estancia High School in Costa Mesa.

Thomas ran 10.51 in the 100 to secure the top stop edging a runner from Lompoc who came in at 10.64. He then ran away from the competition in the 200 posting 21.44 to win his second CIF title of the day. Both times were wind-aided.

These accolades add to an already impressive junior campaign that includes victories at the Triton Invitational (100, 200, 4x100), Arcadia Invitational (200), OC Championships (4x100, 100), three Trinity League titles (100, 200, 4x100) and two Servite records (100, 200). Thomas accomplished all of this while still playing on the Friars' Trinity League Championship soccer team earning 2nd Team All-League accolades.

Despite all of his success, he isn't done yet! He will compete at the unofficial State meet the last week of June at Arcadia.
