Senior Mason LaBow has won the 2023 Trinity League Individual Golf Championship! The Friars finished 1-2 as LaBow edged his teammate, freshman Hanks Wang in a playoff to win the coveted title.
LaBow shot 71 (-1) in round 1 at Los Serranos then finished the second round with a 73 (+1) to score 144 in the tournament. With the victory, both him and Wang advanced to the CIF-SS Individual Regional Tournament.
It's the third year in a row that a Servite golfer has won the league title with LaBow following in the footsteps of William Sung '21 (Columbia) and Jack Cantlay '22 (LB State).
With their places, LaBow and Wang also earned 1st Team All-Trinity League honors while Andre Chang (T9th), William Gim (T12) and Christian Rodriguez (T16) earned 2nd Team honors.
