An announcement from Mr. Brendan Ronan, Assistant Principal Catholic Identity

I am excited to introduce and welcome Mr. Aaron Mascaro to the Servite community as our new Director of Campus Ministry starting February 1st.

Mr. Mascaro has served in ministry since the age of 19 as a student at the University of Pittsburgh, where Jesus Christ led him to fully surrender his life to him while participating in college baseball and earning degrees in Studio Arts and Divinity. He has worked professionally in sports ministry, with college students, as a chaplain at a homeless shelter, and as a Christian college pastor.

Mr. Mascaro unexpectedly and joyfully returned to the Catholic faith in 2012, and considers being a Catholic his greatest identity, and offering the Body and Blood of Christ in Holy Communion as his most impactful ministry.

Mr. Mascaro comes to Servite after nine years of teaching, coaching and ministry at St. Anthony High School in Long Beach.  He is  married to his best friend Mrs. Gina Mascaro, and together they have three sons, Xavier, Isaac, and Shane, ages 10, 9, and 7. Mr. Mascaro is a Pittsburgh sports diehard and is ecstatic to now be a Servite Friar.

I am excited for Mr. Mascaro to bring his passion for the Catholic faith and his deep love of Christ to our Servite community.  I have full confidence that he will immediately embrace Servite's motto Be Christ, See Christ in his new role!   He cannot wait to get started!
