Servite Athletics recognized eleven student-athletes from four sports Wednesday, February 5 during a ceremony held in the gym as commitments were made by members of the class of 2020 to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Football led all sports with eight participants followed golf, lacrosse and water polo with one each.

Football

Ender Aguilar (Cal Berkeley) Aguilar is one of three Servite Football players (Nicholas Martinez and Jake Overman) who signed their National Letters of Intent during the early signing period in December. Aguilar, who played tight end as well as offensive and defensive line for the Friars during his career, is a two-year varsity letterman.

Zedakiah Centers (Cal Poly SLO) Centers is a 2x 1st Team All-Trinity League selection for the Friars earning 3rd Team All-County recognition following his senior season. Playing wide receiver, Centers finished the 2019 season with 36 receptions for 955 yards and 14 touchdowns.  

Luca de Lancellotti (Trinity College) A two-year varsity letterman for Servite, de Lancellotti played linebacker and defensive end for the Friars. He was also selected to team’s eight-man leadership group called the Curia.

Jacob Garcia (Utah State) Garcia played long snapper for Servite earning 3rd Team All-County honors while being selected to play in the Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii. In addition, he was named by Rubio Long Snapping 3rd Team HS All-American.

Robert Krebs (Columbia) A three-year varsity letterman for the Friars, Krebs played various positions on the offensive line for Servite. A member of the Curia, Krebs also earned 2nd Team All-Trinity League recognition his senior season. 

Jeminai Leuta-Ulu (UNLV) A 2x 2nd Team All-Trinity League selection, Leuta-Ulu played three years varsity football for the Friars as a staple on the offensive line. He is also a CIF placer in Discus for Servite’s track and field team.

Nicholas Martinez (Kansas State) A three-year varsity letterman, Martinez is a 2x All-Trinity League selection for the Friars also earning All-CIF honors his senior season. A member of the Curia, Martinez was selected to wear Servite’s Honored Jersey for his junior and senior campaigns.

Jake Overman (Oregon State) Overman is a three-year varsity letterman for Servite playing tight end for the Friars. A member of the Curia, he earned 2nd Team All-Trinity League recognition his junior season.

Golf

Diego Gonzalez (Embry Riddle) Gonzalez is a four-year member of the Servite Golf program helping the Friars win Trinity League titles at multiple levels.

Lacrosse

Brian Rusnak (Arcadia) A three-year varsity letterman for Servite, Rusnak earned 1st Team All-Trinity League recognition following his junior campaign after tallying 37 goals and 20 assists, leading the team in assists and tying for most points. He was also recognized with All-County Honorable Mention accolades.

Water Polo

Guillermo Ocasio (UCLA) A four-year varsity starter for Servite, Ocasio is a 4x 1st Team All-Trinity League selection, 3x All-County honoree and a 2x All-CIF award winner in addition to being named 2018 CIF Player of the year after leading the Friars to the CIF Division 3 Championship. He has also represented Team USA playing on the Youth National Team on multiple occasions.
