Members of the Servite Guitar Ensemble traveled to the Columbus State Guitar Symposium in Columbus, GA.

The Columbus State University Guitar Symposium included masterclasses with top clinicians from universities and conservatories around the world. The Servite Guitar Ensemble performed in the classes of Dr. Andrew Zohn, professor of music at CSU, and Erdong Li (China). 

Servite students also attended lectures and concerts given by the Li/Zohn duo, virtuoso Pablo Garibay, the Newman/Oltman duo (Mannes School of Music, NYC), and Grammy Award winner, David Russell.  

The symposium also hosts one of the highest level competitions in the country, attracting top players from around the world. Sebastian Oseguera won 3rd prize in the competition and was also awarded the audience vote prize.
