Brock Beuerlein ’22 has committed to play football at Benedictine College in Kansas. The Friars’ safety shared, “I chose Benedictine because of the campus and tight-knit environment. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming when I visited and it made the experience very enjoyable and memorable. As for the football program, I saw similarities to the football team at Servite which really resonated with me. The coaching staff is also young and determined to win which I really liked as well.”

A three-year varsity letterman in football, Beuerlein played safety for Servite being recognized All-Trinity League his senior year after tallying 42 tackles and one interception. He also punted for the Friars. As a team, Servite advanced to the CIF-SS D1 Finals, finishing as runner-ups with a 10-3 overall record and a top 5 national ranking.

As a multi-sport athlete, Beuerlein is also an accomplished Track athlete running the 110 and 300 Hurdles as well as the 4×400 relay in which the team won a Trinity League title in 2022. He has also qualified for CIF Finals in both the 110 Hurdles and 4×400 Relay.

Coach Troy Thomas shared, “I was so fired up to coach Brock on defense the past two seasons. He came into Servite as a QB and left as an All-Trinity League safety. Brock is very smart and I believe that he is going to continue to grow into a great safety at Benedictine College.”

Beuerlein, who plans to study business finance, is also involved with the Priory Program, National Honors Society and California Scholarship Federation at Servite in addition to serving as an Admissions Ambassador.

Beuerlein is the 9th senior football player from the Class of 2022 to announce his college decision and the first in school history to play for the Ravens.

In closing he shared, “Mom, Dad, and Reagan, thank you for all the support you have given me throughout my four years playing football at Servite. Thank you for driving me to practices, waking me up on time, and making sure my laundry was done for the next day of practice. I am blessed that you enabled me to have had this journey filled with nothing but great life-long memories. I love you all, and I can’t wait for the years moving forward! To Coach Thomas and the football program, thank you for bringing the best out of me every day. I am grateful for the countless memories I have made with all of my brothers. Although my journey is over playing for Servite, I can’t wait to come back and support the team as an alum. Thank you Servite Football for turning my big dreams from when I was younger into a reality.”
