Over summer we shared about Servite Tennis player Andy Loughran ’22 who had teamed up with Orange Lutheran students Jacob Eusebio and Natalie Rodriguez to create Serving Advantage, a nonprofit aimed at providing summer camp opportunities for children with special needs after winning a grant from the Dragon Kim Foundation.

Since then, they have continued to build their nonprofit and host clinics modified to follow all COVID-19 guidelines to ensure safety for the volunteers and participants including two adaptive tennis classes planned for February in Tustin.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, these three young people have done incredible work to build their program from adding more players and coaches to partnering with businesses. They've received over 30 new rackers and tennis balls from company donations and met with Love Serving Autism and Creative Solutions for Hope to get mentoring assistance and provide an introduction to autism course for the volunteers.
