Accounts using the Servite name or brand identity are not permitted without the written consent of the Communications and Marketing Department. Anyone managing a Servite-affiliated account represents the school at all times and must follow the guidelines below.

Account Approval Process

ACCOUNTS MAY NOT BE CREATED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM SERVITE HIGH SCHOOL.

1. Review the guidelines and contract terms on this page.
2. Complete the Social Media Application Form at the bottom of this page.
3. Meet with the Servite Communications Team to review your account's goals and posting strategy.
4. Sign the Social Media Contract.
5. Begin setting up your account and post.

Once approved, accounts must be created with a Servite email address, and login credentials must be shared with (and updated for) the Communications and Marketing Department. If a student posts on behalf of the account, an adult moderator or coach must approve all posts first.

Key Guidelines

  • Represent Servite well. Everything you post reflects on your group and the school — keep it professional and respectful, and avoid arguments or debates online.
  • Assume it's permanent and public. Once posted, content is largely out of your control, even after deletion.
  • No derogatory, threatening, or inappropriate content toward students, staff, opposing teams, or officials.
  • Stay on-brand. Use approved logos, fonts, and colors; keep photos/video unfiltered and true to Servite's tone. Servite staff photos don't need credit; professional photographer images with permission should be attributed.
  • Post only approved content. Content must relate to your group and only promote Servite-approved events — no unapproved sponsors or vendors.
  • Quality and accuracy matter. Fact-check before posting, and use correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation — no slang.
  • Stay active. Accounts should post consistently and engage with followers year-round.
  • Follow CIF Bylaw 510. School accounts may not follow or contact prospective students/families directly.

Moderating Comments

Monitor your page and remove or hide comments only when they contain profanity, personal attacks, or unauthorized third-party promotion. For repeat offenders or unclear cases, contact the Communications and Marketing Department.

In a Crisis

Do not post on Servite's behalf during a campus emergency or social crisis. Pause scheduled posts, direct questions to Servite's official channels, and only reshare official messaging from Servite's Facebook, X, and Instagram accounts.
