General Apparel and Accessory Guidelines
It is mandatory for all clubs, sports, and departments to comply with Servite’s Branding Guidelines. All of Servite’s programs are high profile and, as such, demand that all participants represent the school in a professional manner. Everyone is a representative of Servite High School and the Servite Order first and a representative of their activity second. Servite High School has developed guidelines pertaining to logo, look, style, placement, color and size. Use of the Servite logo is not permitted without approval per use.
- Every item a group or organization creates must be approved by the Communications & Marketing Department to ensure compliance with our brand identity.
- Apparel items may be designed unique to your group. When designing your apparel you should focus on primarily using Servite’s core branded elements to influence the direction of your design. By using the Servite logo and lockups in a consistent manner, you strengthen the value of the brand and, in turn, elevate the reputation of your club, sport, or department.
- In order to avoid a misrepresentation of the Servite brand, no team, activity or department is allowed to have their own distinct logo. There are many things that can be done with graphics, colors, typography and messaging to give any group its own identity, while staying within the Servite Branding Guidelines and without the need for a new, standalone logo.

Design Process
To help streamline the production process for Servite products and apparel, we have developed a design process to create an efficient method for development and approval. All designs should be submitted through our online Apparel Design Request Form
STEP ONE: Submit Product Proof-of-Concept for Approval
- Answer these questions: Tell us about what you want to create? Why are you creating this product? Who is it for? When would you need your items? How many products do you need?
- What do you envision visually for your product? Sketch out a proof-of-concept drawing to help illustrate your vision and upload a scan or photograph with your submission.
- The Communications & Marketing Department will review your submission for approval.
STEP TWO: Develop Your Design and Submit Purchase Order Request
- Once your proof-of-concept has been approved, you will need to design a digital version of your concept. This can be completed by a vendor, the Communications & Marketing Department, or any experienced designer.
- You will also need to request an estimate from your Approved Vendor and submit a Purchase Order (PO) Request Form to the business office before production begins.
- Final designs must be approved by the Communications & Marketing Department before production begins.
STEP THREE: Review Final Proof (Digital/Physical)
- Once the Business Office has approved your request, the Business Office will generate and deliver a PO number to you and the vendor. Vendors should not begin production until confirmation has been received.
- It is highly suggested that you receive a hard/soft-proof to ensure your design is produced correctly, and that brand standards are met.
STEP FOUR: Production and Quality Verification
- You may now begin the production of your product.
- Once you have received your product, double check quality, count, and check for any errors or issues. If none are found, notify Accounts Payable, with related invoices, to initiate payment with the vendor.
Vendors
In order to better regulate all brand usage, Servite has an Approved Vendor List, from which all entities within Servite using official brand elements should choose to work with when creating branded designs and/or special-order products (ex. apparel, signage, promotional products.) These vendors have completed the application process, been provided with our Servite brand guidelines, have access to brand files, and agreed to the terms for use. If a vendor uses any design that goes against the agreed to brand guidelines terms and policies, the vendor may lose their approved vendor status.
New Vendor Approval Process
All vendors wishing to be included on the Approved Vendor List must complete the application process.
The application process includes:
- Completing the Vendor Application Form
- Provide a color sample and/or a stitch to ensure ink and thread colors match our official Pantones.
Once the Servite Communications & Marketing Department receives the new vendor's application, we will review it and follow up with the point-of-contact regarding approval and permission to move forward as an Approved Vendor.
Once approved, vendors will be asked to provide product samples to ensure coloring is accurate moving forward. Vendors will be required to follow all current and updated brand guidelines at all times as issued by Servite High School. If the Servite Communications & Marketing Department finds that any vendor is not following Servite's brand guidelines, the vendor’s approval status may be revoked and the company will be removed from the Approved Vendor List.
Any vendor that "produces" materials using the Servite brand and is not an approved vendor may be eliminated from consideration any time in the future. Any vendor that "tampers" with, or "uses" Servite brand elements in any way other than outlined in the Servite brand guidelines, will be eliminated from consideration as an approved vendor in the future. In both cases, vendors may be subject to legal action on behalf of Servite.
