Mr. Dana Karcher '71 (Chair)

President of D & J Karcher Consulting, Inc., specializing in business and accounting services. Prior experience included: owner of Karcher Digital & Printing for over 24 years; financial executive in the telecommunications industry; and CPA with two national accounting firms. Mr. Karcher was President of the Servite Alumni Association (1991-1993). He also served on various boards and committees for the Boys & Girls Club of the Harbor Area, Rosary High School, First Friday Friars and other Catholic related organizations.


Mr. Phil Stump (Vice Chair)

Mr. Stump was the Executive Vice President for Beam & Associates for 14 years before becoming President of the Allied Group of companies in 1994. As President, Mr. Stump is responsible for oversight of all areas of the firm including sales, marketing, planning, operations and regulatory compliance. Mr. Stump received his BA in Business Administration and Finance in 1976 from CSUF and his Masters in Business Administration from Harvard in 1980. He is currently working with Servite on integrating robotics into a formal engineering curriculum and in 2016 was appointed the Assistant Director of the Los Amigos District for the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Stump and his wife, Mary, live in Fullerton and have two children, Katie and Michael. Philip and Mary are members of St. Juliana Parish in Fullerton.

Mrs. Mary M. Santoni

Mrs. Mary M. Santoni, recently retired, was Principal of St. Juliana Falconieri School in Fullerton for 21 years. Mrs. Santoni has served on the Consultative School Board for the Diocese of Orange and the Board of the Educational Network for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange.

Father Michael Guimon, OSM

Hospital Chaplain at Alta Bates Summit Medical Hospital in Berkeley, CA and a spiritual director. Ordained in 1970 as a friar in the Servite Order, Father Michael ministered in secondary schools as a guidance counselor/chaplain. He has also served in the internal ministry of his province as assistant provincial,vocation director and provincial as well as serving on the Order’s International Formation team in Rome, Italy.

Mr. Alan Cummins

Mr. Cummins was employed by Shapell, one of the largest privately held real estate companies in the nation, from 1980 until his retirement in 2008. During this time Mr. Cummins served as Vice President and from 1986 until his retirement he served as the Corporate Responsible Managing Officer, RMO. Mr. Cummins has served on various governmental and private company Boards and committees. He currently holds a California State General Contractor’s B-1 license and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California Irvine in 1977, emphases in Planning and Public Policy.

Mrs. Kathleen McGuire

Mrs. Kathleen McGuire has had a career in education, student services, and school administration for over 20 years. She was the principal of St. Mary’s College High School in Albany, CA from 1999 – 2005. Mrs. McGuire has experience as a Board member with the Thomas House Family Shelter, and as a Board of Trustee Member at Cathedral High School.

Father Larry Choate, OSM

Director of the Development, Office of the Friar Servants of Mary, Berwyn, Illinois. Fr. Choate made solemn vows with the Servites in 1977 and was ordained in 1978. Within the Servite Order, he served as prior of Our Lady of Sorrows community, pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica, secretary of the former Eastern Province and assistant provincial.

Mr. Tim Buckley '73

Mr. Buckley is a graduate of Servite Class of 1973. He is married to Jennifer (Reilly-Connelly ’76), is father to Keith (Servite ’98), Megan (Rosary ’00), Lindsay (Rosary ’05) and Shelby (CDM ’08). He is the C.E.O. and Sole shareholder of Vintage Design, a full service Design Center with, corporate offices in Irvine, and 7 additional locations throughout California. He is a Trustee for U.S.A. Swimming, and current Masters world record holder. Tim and Jennifer have 5 Grandchildren.

Ms. Mimi Taylor

Ms. Taylor is SVP of Finance & Accounting at Roth Staffing Company, LP, a privately held staffing company based in Orange, CA, where she oversees several corporate departments including Accounting, Finance, Credit & Collections, and Payroll. Ms. Taylor joined Roth in 2014 after a ten-year stint as CFO of a large petroleum distribution organization, where she was named Private Company CFO of the Year in 2007. Her 30 years with rapidly growing multi-company enterprises includes experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate banking, IT, HR, strategic planning, operational efficiencies, system integrations, and corporate tax. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of Missouri Physicians Insurance Co. and on the Advisory Board for US Bank, Orange County. Ms. Taylor is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Accounting. She has three college-age children, daughters Megan and Emma (Bishop Amat HS) and a son, Jackson (Servite 2016).

Mr. Rob Hoertz ’72

Currently with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Hoertz has more than 35+ years of IT-related sales management and consulting practice leadership experience at several Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Hoertz served as President of the Servite Alumni Association (1993-1995) and as a member of the Servite President’s Advisory Board (1997-2009).

Mr. Jonathan Ekno '00

Mr. Ekno graduated from Servite High School in 2000. He continued his education at the University of Hawaii while on scholarship competing as a 4 year letter winner for the University of Hawaii football team and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in American History. He returned to California and started his career in insurance as a Farmers Insurance agency owner and earned the Top 10 Orange County insurance professional award in 2010. In 2012, Mr. Ekno started an independent insurance brokerage called Ekno Insurance Services representing multiple insurance companies for property, casualty, life and health. He has served on the Board of Directors at the Brea Chamber of Commerce since 2011 and has served as Chairman of the Board for the Chamber for 2015 & 2016. He has also served as a Member of the Brea Rotary Club since 2012. Mr. Ekno married his wife, Kelly in April 2016.

Dr. Ken Foersch

Mr. Joe Ryan '76

Joe Ryan is a graduate of Servite Class of ’76 and father of Joseph ’04 and Nick ’08. Joe recently retired after 24 years at Bank of America. In his capacity as SVP/Portfolio Manager in BofA’s Corporate Real Estate group, he gained extensive experience in site acquisition, construction and property management. Currently he is working for CBRE in Transaction Management. His wife Donna has 15 years’ experience as junior high teacher as St. Juliana Falconieri in Fullerton. Joe was on the St. Juliana Facilities Commission handling the retrofit of the school and development of the Parish Hall. He is a Eucharistic Minister at St. Juliana and an Acolyte for the Sisters of St. Joseph.

Mr. Gary Belz '71

An alum from the Class of 1971, Mr. Belz began his public accounting career in 1976 and has worked his entire career at White Nelson Diehl Evans LLP. He is a tax partner in the firm, former Managing Partner and a former member of WNDE’s Executive Committee. He has a diverse background which includes partnership and corporate taxation, individual tax compliance and planning, non-profit, trust and estate planning. His clients are typically involved in manufacturing, distributing, professional services and real estate. Mr. Belz lives in Irvine with his wife, Karen and is active at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He is a board member for Mercy House Living Centers, which provides transitional living for homeless persons, and on the Legacy Board of Servite High School. He is also an audit committee member of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange.
