Ways to Give to Servite
Friar Financial Aid- Servite has more than 260 young men who need $1.6 million in financial aid each year to realize their dream of a Servite education. For the second year, Servite has received a $250,000 challenge grant from the Windsong Trust of Las Vegas. They will match all donations to Financial Aid, up to a total of $250,000.
Capital Campaign matching gifts – Servite received challenge grants from 2 foundations for new facilities and the Financial Aid Endowment.
1. The LeVecke Family Foundation made a $1.5 million challenge grant for new facilities at Servite. The grant is scheduled to be paid over 5 years at the rate of $300,000 per year. In order to receive the annual grant payments of $300,000, Servite must secure $1.5 million in new pledges each year for the Capital Campaign. Servite met the first three yeard requirement and is working on matching pledges to receive the fourth challenge grant payment.
2. The A. Gary Anderson Family Foundation made a $500,000 challenge grant that required Servite to raise $500,000 in new gifts and pledges within 3 years. We are pleased to have met this challengce. The Anderson Family grant and all new matching gifts and pledges were placed into a permanent endowment for Financial Aid to benefit Servite students into perpetuity.
