Hello! Congratulations on your acceptance to Servite High School. We are excited to have your family become a part of a community that is filled with wonderful people who are all committed to forming the next-generation of leaders. Once you step through our doors, you will learn that Servite is more than a four year experience. The families you meet will become connected with you forever. It is unique, it is special, and we are excited to have you be a part of it!

Please see take a look at the information below, to help you get acquainted with Servite. We hope to engage you in the next 8 months, so when you and your son step on campus for his first day of of his freshman year, it truly is "your home".

In order to help you in your transition here, we have created a password protected forum for you to be able to communicate back and forth with parents and students in your general area. You can use this to organize get togethers with those in your community, or contact each other about carpool groups. High School Placement Test Prep - January 23

Servite High School offers a one-day prep course for all students (boys and girls) who will be taking the High School Placement Test (HSPT) this year. The course, conducted by members of the Servite faculty and staff, will introduce students to the HSPT format as well provide important test-taking tips and skills. This is a great opportunity for all students (no matter which school they plan to attend) to be better prepared for their entrance exam.

The HSPT Prep Class will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 here at Servite High School. The class will begin promptly at 4:00PM and ends at 6:45PM.

Check-in begins at 3:30PM in front of the Theatre Lobby.

You may pay the $30 class fee at check-in
You will receive your class assignment at check-in
You should report to the classroom at 3:50PM

The class fee of $30 includes dinner of a personal pan pizza, water and a cookie. Students should be picked-up by 6:45PM.

High School Placement Test - January 26

Saturday, January 26, 2013 8:00AM– 12:30PM

The Exam begins promptly at 8:00AM. We suggest that you plan on arriving NO LATER THAN 7:45AM in order to allow yourself time to find the classroom to which you are assigned and get yourself comfortably settled. You will receive your classroom assignment by email early next week. Thank you for your patience.

Attendance will be taken by the proctor. The Exam will be over around 12:30PM. A snack will be served during the break at no additional cost. Feel free to bring any other snacks you’d like. Pencils will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own #2 pencils and erasers as well. Please note that calculators are NOT permitted. NOTE: If you have a documented learning difference and would like to arrange accommodations, please contact the Admissions Office (admissions@servitehs.org) if you have not already done so. Please be prepared to provide the necessary documentation that describes the accommodations needed.

Please also note that there is NO ADDITIONAL TEST after the Entrance Exam for those students interested in honors placement. Honors placement will be determined by the Admissions Committee based on the results of the Entrance Exam as well as an applicant’s classroom grades and previous standardized testing results. For those students interested in testing out of Algebra 1 or Spanish 1, additional tests will be given in May 2013. Details regarding those tests will be available to all accepted students at the New Student & Parent Orientation Night in April.
