Tri-School Theatre

MISSION

Tri-School Theatre is an educational theatre ministry that uses the performing arts as a way for students to discover themselves and to nurture their God-given talents through process-oriented training in a Christ-centered environment.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

Since 1989, this theatre arts training program for students from Cornelia Connelly, Rosary Academy and Servite High School has distinguished itself as one of the best theatre programs in California, honored with awards from the Educational Theatre Association, National Youth Theatre Organization, the International Thespian Society, and the Music & Arts Commendation for Youth Organization every year.

Tri-School Theatre offers students the opportunity to participate in three main stage productions of plays and musicals each year, in addition to three student showcases, a Comedy Sportz Improvisation team, a Thespian Honor Society, a dance academy, a Cappies Critics Writing Team, field trips to festivals and professional theatre workshops/performances, and classes in acting, musical theatre, technical theatre, and make-up design. This year Tri-School is ecstatic to announce our 29th Season “Artists Tell the Story”

The Iliad, The Odyssey, and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes November 9-12
The Story Goes On… An Evening of Music with Erin McNallyFebruary 3rd only
Into The WoodsMay 3-6

It’s long been the objective of Tri-School students to approach our productions as storytellers. With each show we produce, we sift through the text, music, and movement in a fresh, detailed, and nuanced manner as we breathe life into these works onstage. This year’s offerings are collections of some of the greatest stories ever told! Beginning with the world’s first storytellers, our fall play is The Iliad, The Odyssey, and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less. Next, you asked for it and we heard you, Erin McNally is graciously starring in another one-night-only benefit concert. Lastly, our spring musical combines some of the most beloved fairytale characters of all time in Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods. We hope to see you there!
