Ways to Give to Servite Servite is committed to providing an excellent Catholic college preparatory education to develop faith-filled leaders in a caring, nurturing environment. Each year, we must raise nearly $2 million for education costs that are not covered by tuition and fees. The following opportunities are ways of giving that enable Servite to meet its annual education costs. Annual Fund Campaign – Annual fund appeals are mailed to alumni, parents and other friends. Donations are used for financial aid to assist 20% of our 964 students; maintaining excellent academic, spiritual and athletic programs; and, retaining and recruiting outstanding faculty members. Special Events – Servite holds three fundraising events each year:
Parent Pledge Program – Servite parents are asked to make a 4-year pledge to cover the gap between total education cost ($15,000) and what is charged for tuition ($10,650). This amounts to $4,350 per student each year, a total of $17,050 over 4 years. Parents can pledge all or part of the gap. Donations are tax-deductible. Credit Card – Servite accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Capital Campaign – Servite has begun a Capital Campaign to expand and update its facilities. Phase I priorities include construction of a new baseball field and 50 meter swimming pool, chapel, academic center and gymnasium. Legacy Gifts – Your will, life insurance, trust or retirement plans are vehicles for making lasting gifts to Servite. Name Servite as a percentage or specific dollar amount beneficiary. Our legal name is: Servite High School, Anaheim, California. Matching Gifts – Double the impact of your annual gift to Servite by asking your employer to match your gift. Contact your Human Resource Department to see if your employer will match your gift or review the Matching Gift list of companies. Memorial Donations – Honor the memory of a loved one by making a gift to Servite. Memorial donations are listed in Legenda. Online Giving – Make your gift to Servite through our secure online giving site. Click Support Servite, choose the Quick Donate option and make a gift to Servite. Stock Donations – You can deduct the full appreciated value of a stock when you donate it to Servite and avoid paying capita gains tax on your appreciated stock. Please contact the Servite Advancement Office before making your stock donation so we can make sure your gift is properly credited (714) 774-7575 ext. 1140. Giving to Servite High School is simple. Annual Fund Goal The 2010-11 Annual Fund Goal is $775,000 to close the gap between the actual cost of a Servite education and the current tuition and fees. We need thousands of alumni, parents and other friends to include Servite in their annual giving plan. Annual Fund donations are used to meet three critical needs:

President’s Dinner ─ Each year, Servite hosts the President’s Dinner to recognize the generosity of a select group of benefactors. Attendance at this event is by invitation only. Qualifying commitment amounts are recognized at the completion of the pledge. |
