Tuition & Financial Assistance
ANNUAL COST TO ATTEND   
 
2010 – 2011 School Year
At Servite, our goal is to provide your son with the best education available while trying to keep the cost of tuition down. When you enroll your son(s) at Servite, you enter into a financial contract with the school. Servite bases its cash flow on the prompt payment of tuition bills. The policies described herein apply to all families.
 
2010 – 2011 Tuition  $11,450
The annual cost to attend Servite includes: a Student ID /Meal Card, activity sticker, yearbook, student newspaper, locker, report cards, student activity insurance, lab use, drug testing, standardized testing, classroom equipment fees, guidance and counseling, school calendars, $10 Class Grad Night Fund, $25 Kairos deposit.
 
Tuition Discounts
Families may be eligible to receive tuition discounts. The discounts are deducted from the total annual tuition amount.
 
Registered Catholic Discount  $ -800
The Bishop of the Diocese of Orange has mandated that all practicing Catholics and active in their parishes be given a discount of $800 off of their annual tuition. In kind, the Bishop donates financial aid annually to Servite.
 
Pre-Payment Tuition Discount  $-800 or $-550
Servite offers tuition discounts to families who pay tuition annually on or before May 17, 2010:
  • Check or Cash Payment Discount- Pay by cash or check and receive an $800 discount
  • Credit Card Payment Discount- Pay by credit card and receive a $550 discount
Brother Discount  $-250
If two or more boys from the same family are enrolled in the school at the same time, the additional student(s) will be granted a tuition reduction of $250. If the number of family members enrolled in the school is reduced to one student, that student will be billed at the full tuition rate. The Family Discount Rate is in addition to other applicable discounts.
 
Additional Costs & Fees
 
Registration Fees
Incoming Freshmen $500
A registration fee of $500 is due from all accepted incoming freshmen students by March 15, 2010, to reserve the student’s place. If the fee is not received by March 15, 2010, the student’s place may be given to a student on the waiting list. Payment should be made to the Servite Admissions Office.
 
Returning & Transfer Students  $300
A registration fee of $300 is due from all transfer and returning students. 
  • Returning students should submit their payment to the Servite Business Office by April 30, 2010
  • Transfer students should submit their payment to the Servite Admissions Office by the date stated in their acceptance letter.
Graduation Fee  $450
This non-refundable fee applies only to senior students. It includes: Senior Breakfast at Disneyland and park admission, Senior Memories Day, Grad Night (remaining balance), graduation ceremony (cap and gown, programs, diplomas, and covers). Payment is due to the Servite Business Office by May 17, 2010.
 
Computer & E-Book Fee  $1,000
(Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors only)
This fee includes the use of a Tablet Computer and carrying case, imaging and access to all online textbooks, interactive software, online resources and applicable curriculum. Payment is due to the Servite Business Office by May 17, 2010. Students using online books may elect to also purchase traditional textbooks for an additional cost.
 
Textbooks  $450 (approx)
An estimated cost of $450 is based on a freshman student purchasing used books. As stated above, all other grades use tablet computers with online textbooks. Students using online books may elect to also purchase traditional textbooks, however it is not required.
 
Parking Permit  $25
Parking at Servite is restricted to juniors and seniors during school hours. Students that wish to park in the parking lot must obtain a parking permit from the Servite Business Office. To purchase a Parking Permit, complete the Parking Permit Application and Agreement form and return it with the following information to the Servite Business Office:
  • $25.00 Parking Fee
  • Current valid California Driver’s license
  • Current Registration
  • Current Proof of Insurance
 
Activity Fees
Sports, clubs and activities may charge additional fees and may have fundraising requirements for student participation.
 
Fundraising Commitment  $350 total
Fundraising helps Servite keep the cost of tuition down for our families. At the time of registration, each family signs a written agreement to participate the school’s fall and spring mandatory fundraisers. If a family achieves their sales quota for each fundraiser, no additional fees are charged. If a family does not reach their quota, they will be invoiced for the amount of the shortfall. Families who do not wish to participate in the school fundraisers may send in a fundraising buyout of $350 with a written request to be exempt from their personal and class quotas.
