Why is it important to donate to Servite?

Over the last five years, Servite High School has made a commitment that no student would be turned away or should leave the school, for financial reasons. In 2009, alumni and parents increased their fundraising donations, doubling the amount of financial aid the school could make available to its families. This helped nearly 200 current students remain at Servite.

Currently, tuition for a Servite student who is an active member of a Catholic parish is $10,650. The actual cost to educate a Servite student is approximately $14,850. This $3,200 gap ─ about $12,800 over four years─ is offset by donations. If you believe in the Servite mission of Forming Faith-Filled Leaders, please make a deep, faith-filled commitment to keep our school accessible to all.

Is my commitment tax-deductible?

Yes! All contributions to the Development Fund are tax-deductible. Servite's Tax ID number is 95-3358013.

How much should I commit?

At Servite, we talk about Credo (I Believe) and Forming Faith-Filled Leaders. The Gospel of Mark 12:41-44 says that Jesus “sat down opposite the treasury and observed how the crowd put money into the treasury. Many rich people put in large sums. A poor widow also came and put in two small coins worth a few cents. Calling his disciples to himself, he said to them, ‘Amen, I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the other contributors to the treasury. For they have all contributed from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has contributed all she had, her whole livelihood.’"

The widow’s gift is special because she gives beyond her comfort level. Her gift is an act of faith. Whatever the dollar amount, the most important thing is that your gift is an act of faith from your heart. Your act of faith is a powerful example for your son and a catalyst for grace.
