Application Process 2008/2009
Given the high interest in Servite High School and the selectivity of its admissions process, all applicants are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible. To that end, priority will be given to those applicants who take advantage of the Early Admission process. All Early Admission applications are due no later than December 12, 2008. ALL early decision letters will be mailed on December 18, 2008. If an applicants application is received on time and they are not approved for early admission, their application will automatically be included to the Regular Admission process.

For all other applicants, the Regular Admission deadline is January 24, 2009. All regular decision letters for deferred applicants as well as Regular Admission applicants will be mailed on or before March 6, 2009.

It is our hope that the following checklist will assist you in making your way through the Servite Admissions Process. If at any point, however, you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at your convenience.
  1. Complete the enclosed “Student Application,” “Parent Questionnaire,” “Entrance Exam Registration Form,” and “Interview Appointment Request Form” and return them to the Admissions Office (via mail or drop-off) at least one week prior to your desired Interview appointment date. Please remember that the $50 Exam Fee must accompany the “Entrance Exam Registration Form.”
  2. Deliver the “Official Records Request” to the appropriate administrator at your current school.
  3. Deliver the corresponding “Teacher Recommendation Forms” to your current Math and English teachers. Please be aware that all completed Teacher Recommendation Forms are NOT to be returned to the applicant. All completed Teacher Recommendation Forms MUST be mailed directly to Servite from the applicant’s current school.
  4. Attend your Admissions Interview. Students who do not attend an Admissions Interview will not be considered for admission.
  5. Take the Entrance Exam at Servite on January 31, 2009. You will be provided with more details regarding the Entrance Exam once you register.
*Please note that APPLICANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE for ensuring that all records being provided by their current school or
current teachers are received by the Servite High School Admissions Office on or before any due dates.

Applications are not considered COMPLETE until ALL components of the application, as outlined above, are received by the
Servite High School Admissions Office. Only COMPLETE applications will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. All
applicants are responsible for ensuring that their applications are complete. Applicants with incomplete applications will NOT be notified as such. To inquire about the status of your application, please contact us VIA EMAIL ONLY at admissions@servitehs.org.

*Please note that all applicants admitted through Early Admission are still required to take the Entrance Exam on January 31, 2009. Students who do not take the Entrance Exam will be denied admission.

DEFERRED APPLICANTS

A deferred applicant is an applicant who applied through the Early Admission process but was not granted early acceptance. Deferred applicants MUST update their application with their most current transcripts available by the January 24, 2009, Regular Admission deadline. Should a student be deferred, an updated version of the “Official Records Request” will be included with the decision letter.

*Please note that deferred applicants do not need to complete a second interview.
