PREVIEW DAY MAY 8, 2009
If you are a returning vendor, it is not necessary to attend a Preview Day.
We encourage you to invite other vendors you think would add to the success of this event.
 
At last years Fashions Show and Boutique the vendor sales varied from $500 to $5000, dependent on the specialty. We charge a minimal space charge of $50 for a ten foot wide by six foot deep area with three 6 foot draped tables to be arranged as you wish; additional tables are possible upon request. Electrical is available for an additional $25 charge. We prefer that most items be available for purchase and take home the day of the event, with limited special ordering.

Dear Friends,
 
I would like to thank everyone who helped with the 2007 Servite Fashion Show, "Winter Wonderland."  This event was successful because of all the hard work and dedication of the volunteers.
  • Did you know that the 2007 Fashion Show was Servite's largest fundraiser to date?
  • Did you know that the 2007 Fashion Show raised over $91,000?
  • Did you know that monies raised at Servite Fashion Show go back to help fund various necessitates for our school?
  • Did you know that the Servite Parents’ Guild formed a special annual scholarship fund in excess of over $10,000?
  • Did you know that because of your generosity the Servite Parents’ Guild was able to donate an additional $25,000.00 towards financial aid?
  • Did you know that this years’ upcoming show will be held on November 23, 2008 at the Anaheim Marriott?
Our fantastic team is already working hard to make the 2008 Fashion Show even more successful than ever.  We will have a larger space for more vendors at our boutique and more room for the most amazing raffle baskets you have ever seen!
 
We are looking for many more volunteers and want to welcome all incoming freshman moms, outgoing senior moms and everyone in between to join us on this journey.
 
Volunteering for the Fashion Show is a great way to meet new women and make life time friends. Please join us and bring a friend to one of the meetings listed below.  We are looking for all types of help and if you can only help once we would love to have you.  In particular, this year we are looking for women to mentor into almost every chair position.
 
Fashion Show Planning Meetings are held from 7:00pm-9:00pm in the Servite Library on the following dates: September 3, September 24, October 8, October 22, November 5 and November 19.
 
Fashion Show Rehearsals are held from 6:00pm-8:00pm in Rooms 300-301 on the following dates: October 21, November 3, November 10, November 17 and November 18.
 
We want to welcome back any mom whose son may have graduated years ago or who will have a son who graduated this year.  We need your help to continue making Servite the best community building school around.  Thank you again for your continued support of this fantastic event and I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming meetings.

We are very excited to announce that the Holiday Boutique will use the entire ballroom this year and will extend the shopping hours from 9:00am to 4:00pm!

This is the perfect "dress up" event for Servite mothers, grandmothers, and friends!  This event includes a boutique, silent auction, raffle, and luncheon. There is also the fashion show itself, where faculty, parents, and students are the models.  This is a great opportunity to meet other parents, and there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer.  If you would like more information or would like to get involved, please contact Salma Bushala-Hamud, Event Chair, at salmafive@aol.com.
