Each year, Servite conducts only two school fundraisers, the Fall Magazine Drive and the Servite Sweepstakes.  These fundraisers are critical to insuring that Servite High School remains accessible to any student who desires a Servite education.

We kick-off the 2008 Magazine Drive on Thursday, August 28, when the students will receive their catalogues at the kick-off assembly.  This year, Servite is proud to offer an additional way to participate in this important school-wide fundraiser... ONLINE!

Parents who have used this method tell us that this is the easiest way to achieve the quota minimum of $150 in sales and to surpass that target.  Purchases made online save time for our volunteers as internet orders are processed with little effort on our part.  In addition, online orders tend to be several times more accurate with regard to correct addresses and magazine code number clarity. Try online sales.  We think that you will like it!

You may start your purchasing and selling online now. Every magazine sold online beginning today will be counted for prize and sales credit for your son.  Magazines sold between July 1st and our first turn-in day, Wednesday, September 3rd, will count for 1st day prizes.  Online sales arriving before each subsequent turn-in days will count for prizes on that following turn-in day.  Note: The daily cutoff for prize credit online is 6:00am on the morning of any prize day.  Online sales arriving after the sale ends will not count towards prizes.

Your son can now start qualifying for prize and sales through this “early bird” selling period.  Last year, families who used the suggested sales strategy below found selling magazines easier and those students generally sold more than anyone else with less effort.  Here are some important tips:
  • When you enter the site, you will be asked for a school number. Our number is 425003193.
  • Please register.  Registration makes it clear when assigning prize and sales credit to a particular student.
  • Sending e-mails to family friends and relatives through QSP’s secure site has proven to be the easiest way to increase sales.  A personalized e-mail is sent to the recipients that you designate and puts them into our school’s selling site. If you registered, all sales made by anyone to whom you sent the e-mail will count as prize and sales credit for your son.
  • And, don’t forget, you can shop in this site.  Your purchases are assigned to your son for prize and sales credit.
Finally, we are announcing a new contest: Top Online Summer Sellers!  Several Top Online Summer Sellers will be recognized at our kickoff assembly and will spin the money wheel twice.  These Top Summer Sellers will win a minimum of $10 and can win as much as $500!
