Academic Achievement Program
Servite High School has developed the Academic Achievement program for students who have been identified as needing extra support. Incoming freshman are assigned to this class by Summer School teachers or by the Administration during the school year. Sophomores are assigned to this class by the Administration based on grades during the school year. Students or parents may also request this class. This program is the school’s commitment to assist each student in achieving personal excellence. The goal of this program is to provide the student with organizational skills, study skills, and academic support. This is not a study hall but rather an opportunity for extra assistance. Students are responsible to attend a class on Wednesday and tutorials Tuesday and Thursday. The Academic Game Plan©, a comprehensive study skills program, is used in this program to teach the rules, fundamentals, and techniques essential to a student's success in the "game" of school. Each student in the program is required to use the Academic Game Plan© binder system and planner.
